Growati ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Timemap Software Private Limited and provides the Growati platform (the "Service"), a SaaS tool that automates YouTube post-production workflows. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
By accessing or using Growati, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
We may collect:

- Billing and payment details (processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers)
1.2 YouTube & Connected Account Data
When you connect your Google Account and YouTube channel, we may access and collect:
- Channel information (channel name, ID, settings)
- Video metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, chapters, tags)
- Video performance metrics (views, watch time, engagement)
- Transcripts and captions (if processed for chapter or description generation)
We access this data via Google's OAuth and the YouTube API Services, only with your authorization, and only as necessary to provide the features you enable.
Limited Use Disclosure: Growati's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained through the YouTube API to serve advertisements, and we do not transfer such data to third parties except as permitted by that policy (e.g., to provide or improve features you've requested, for security purposes, or to comply with law).
1.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect:

- Usage patterns and feature interactions
- Log data and diagnostic information

3. AI Processing and Automated Decision-Making
Growati uses AI models to generate thumbnails, titles, descriptions, chapters, and other Generated Content, and to analyze video content and performance.
This processing may involve:
- Our own AI/ML models
- Third-party AI infrastructure providers, operating under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations
Where automation features are enabled, Generated Content may be published to your channel without manual review by you. You can disable automatic publishing at any time in your account settings, and review Section 5 of our Terms of Service regarding your responsibility for published content.
We do not use your personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you without the ability for human review, except as you have configured through automation settings.
4. Data Sharing and Sub-Processors
We may share information with:
- Service providers – hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and AI processing providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements
- Payment processors – to process transactions
- Legal authorities – where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property

All third parties are contractually required to maintain confidentiality, implement appropriate security measures, and process data only as instructed.
We do not share data for advertising resale.
5. Data Storage, Security, and Breach Notification
- Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls and authentication.
- Encryption is used in transit and, where applicable, at rest.
- Access to personal data is restricted to personnel and processors who need it to perform their functions.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention

- Provide the Service while your account is active;

As a general guide, account and Connected Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus up to 90 days following account closure, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law. You may request earlier deletion as described in Section 7.

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data

9. Children's Privacy
Growati is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under 18 years of age.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under 18 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information and may suspend the associated account. 10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, provide additional notice (such as email or in-app notification).
